PR Brown
Paul R. Brown is a graphic designer, photographer, and Grammy Nominated music video director.
P.R. Brown started at Pentagram Design in London and as a graphic designer. From there he worked at Franfurt Balkind in Los Angeles and then as an art director for Capitol Records. He then took on the role of creative director for October Films in New York City. In 1996 he founded Bau-da Design Lab, which currently operates out of Los Angeles and New York. P.R. Brown is well-known for his album designs for musicians such as Mötley Crüe, Korn, Godsmack, and early in his career he gained a particular notoriety for his work with Blue Note Records and Marilyn Manson. His career in music video direction has included notable videos for a diverse array of musicians including My Chemical Romance, Alicia Keys, John Mayer, Three Days Grace, Billy Corgan (as well as Corgan's band, The Smashing Pumpkins), Evanescence, Seal, Audioslave, Prince, Jack White & Alicia Keys {Grammy nominated music video}, Slipknot, Sevendust, Matisyahu, Mötley Crüe, Goo Goo Dolls, Static-X and Death Cab for Cutie. He has also created notable ad campaigns for Google, Ford/American Idol, Mead Paper, Harley Davidson and Mack.
