Hammer & Tongs (Nick Goldsmith & Garth Jennings) have spent the last 3 years writing, directing and producing two feature films. The first of these was “The Hitchiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” for Disney. The film starred Martin Freeman, Sam Rockwell, Mos Def, Alan Rickman, Helen Mirren, Bill Nighy, John Malkovich and went to number 1 in both the US and UK box office charts.

Hammer & Tongs’ second feature film is the self-penned smash hit of years Sundance Film Festival, “Son of Rambow: A Home Movie”. The film made its mark on its first ever screening in Sundance and caused a record breaking bidding war. Son of Rambow went on to open the Seattle Film Festival, New York BAM Festival and is the official selection for the Toronto Film Festival and the London Film Festival. The film was released internationally through Paramount Vantages in March 2008.

Hammer & Tongs’ previous work includes music videos for Beck, Blur, Supergrass, Eels, Radiohead, Vampire Weekend, Hot Chip, Lamb, Badly Drawn Boy, Fatboy Slim & Macy Gray.
